Ur is the oldest known board game with modern rules, created by Dmitry Skiryuk in 2011. And the modern Unreal Engine 5 visual of course. 

Features of the rules: 

  1. 3 dices are used with an unequal throw of points 
  2. Each cell ornament has they own set of properties
  3. Checkers have 2 states  
  4.  Path length - 23 cells
